With over 20 years of experience in the state and federal courts, Edwin has developed an extensive criminal defense practice.  He worked with the Western Trial Advocacy Institute and has tried numerous federal and state felony and misdemeanor cases. He has also been active in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Utah Appellate Courts.

Edwin attended the University of Wyoming College of Law after obtaining bachelor degrees in Physics, Materials Science and Engineering and Political Science at the University of Utah. While at the University of Wyoming he was active in the Potter Law Club and became director of the Prosecution Assistance Program.

Following law school, Edwin clerked for the Ninth Judicial District Court for the State of Wyoming. He then became a deputy prosecuting attorney in Fremont County, Wyoming. He handled cases involving felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile court and competency hearings, taking a fair number of them to trial.
